The Research and Project Department is a strategical infrastructure in the new cicle of the NOC of Portugal. Its may duties are: the plannification, submission, development and monitoring of the International Projects of ERASMUS+. It has also a priviledge contact with the Olympic Solidarity.

 

At a national level the Office currently coordinates three core projects:  the 'Olympic Education Program', the 'Historical Archive' and the 'Research Centre'.

 

The Research and Project Department is also responsible for the organization of the OLYMPIC DAY and for the coordination of several CONFERENCES and SEMINARS.

  • Responsible for the analysis and qualification of high performance athletes;
    Preparation of proposals for regulating the law of the high performance sport and National Teams;

  • Portuguese Head of Mission to the 21st World Age Group Competition - Birmingham, England 2011 and to the 19th World Age Group Competition – St. Petersburg, Russia 2009.

  • Adjunct of Portuguese Mission Head to World Games – Kahoshuing 2009;
